Cusco Mio Terms and Conditions
Version: 2 · Brand: Cusco Mio · Cusco, Peru
By using our website, starting a booking, or completing payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our online booking services.
1. Identification
Cusco Mio is a premium tourism agency operating in Cusco and destinations across Peru. All official communication is issued under the Cusco Mio brand.
2. Online booking process
Bookings are made through our digital checkout, which may request information in stages (contact details, passengers, payment, and confirmation). Availability shown online is subject to final confirmation by the Cusco Mio team.
3. Booking requirements
You must be of legal age (or authorized by a guardian), provide accurate data, expressly accept these Terms before confirming, and meet minimum passenger rules for each tour (some Machu Picchu products require at least two travelers).
4. Passenger information
The lead traveler must provide name, email, phone, and nationality. For multiple travelers, individual details may be required: full name, passport or ID, nationality, date of birth, gender if required by a supplier, dietary restrictions, and fare type (adult or student). Data must match travel documents exactly.
5. Payment conditions
Prices are displayed in the selected currency before confirmation. Depending on system availability, Cusco Mio accepts PayPal, credit/debit cards (including Izipay and other enabled gateways), Yape, Plin, bank transfer, in-office payment, and other methods shown at checkout. Service fees may apply; the final amount is always displayed before you pay.
6. Deposits and partial payments
Some tours allow booking with an advance percentage (e.g. 50–70% or as configured for the product). Deposit rules vary by tour and admin settings. Remaining balance terms will be communicated by our team. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation without refund of the deposit, unless otherwise stated.
7. Student discounts
Selected tours may offer student fares. Discounts are not automatic or guaranteed and require valid documentation, manual review, and supplier approval. Cusco Mio may charge the difference if documentation is rejected.
8. Operational confirmation
After registration, our team validates availability, passenger data, and service requirements. We may contact you by email or WhatsApp. Your booking code allows status lookup in «My reservation».
9. Cancellations, modifications, and refunds
Policies depend on the tour, timing, and third-party costs already incurred. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy pages. Change requests are subject to availability and may incur fees.
10. Force majeure
Cusco Mio is not liable for failures caused by events beyond reasonable control: extreme weather, strikes, roadblocks, government restrictions, site closures, third-party failures, or health emergencies. We may reschedule or offer alternatives according to applicable policies.
11. Traveler responsibility
Travelers must hold valid documents, follow acclimatization advice, disclose relevant medical conditions, and comply with site rules and guide instructions.
12. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, evacuation, cancellation, and baggage, especially for adventure or high-altitude tours.
13. Personal data
We process personal data according to our Privacy Policy for bookings, payments, and communications. We do not sell personal data.
14. Temporary checkout storage
To improve your experience, your browser may temporarily store form data for approximately 30 minutes. After that, it is automatically deleted.
15. Promotional photos
With prior consent, we may use client images in Cusco Mio promotional material. You may opt out at any time.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Peruvian law, Cusco Mio's total liability for claims related to a booking is limited to the amount actually paid for the service in question, except in cases of willful misconduct.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Peru. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Cusco.
