General description
Machu Picchu 3D/2N
The Machu Picchu 3D/2N program has been designed for travelers who want to explore the most important wonder of Peru with tranquility, comfort and flexibility. Unlike shorter programs, this experience allows you to enjoy the trip without the pressure of tight schedules, providing more time to discover the cultural, historical and natural wealth of the region.
The adventure begins in Cusco, ancient capital of the Inca Empire and one of the most fascinating cities in South America. During the first moments of the trip, visitors travel through some of the most representative landscapes of the Sacred Valley, observing mountains, rivers, agricultural terraces and traditional towns that preserve ancestral customs.
Arrival in Aguas Calientes allows you to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere surrounded by mountains covered with subtropical vegetation. The visitor will be able to walk the streets of the town, visit artisan markets, taste local cuisine and prepare for the most anticipated visit on the itinerary.
The second day is dedicated to Machu Picchu. The early departure allows you to appreciate the citadel in the early hours of the morning, when the fog begins to dissipate and gradually reveals the Inca architecture among the mountains. This moment is considered by many travelers to be one of the most exciting of the entire experience.
During the guided tour, the main archaeological sectors are visited, including ceremonial temples, squares, fountains, agricultural terraces and astronomical observatories. The guide will explain the development of the Inca civilization, the construction techniques used and the existing theories about the function of Machu Picchu.
After the main tour, visitors have additional time to take photographs, take in the scenery, and absorb the unique atmosphere that characterizes this historic sanctuary.
The second night in Aguas Calientes provides an additional opportunity to rest and enjoy the destination before heading back to Cusco.
Thanks to its balance between exploration, comfort and time available, this program is one of the preferred alternatives for travelers who want a more in-depth experience in Machu Picchu.
